We have been chosen by the Norfolk Police & Crime Commissioner to deliver the PCC Youth Commission, which is led by a passionate group of members across the county aged 13-25.
Covid-19 has changed many things, but the PCC Youth Commission continues to have a very important part to play as a communication channel for young people across Norfolk.
The PCC is keen to ensure that they still have a voice during these challenging times and this will impact on how actions and strategies are developed that offer support for young people facing difficulties as a result of the Covid-19 outbreak.
From May 1st until October our focus will be to engage with young people across the county to get feedback on how the current situation regarding the COVID-19 lockdown may be affecting young people in Norfolk.
We'll be conducting a consultation on what their concerns are during the COVID-19 lockdown. The consultation will be focusing on how young people view the relationship between the lockdown and the impact on policing and crime, and how this affects the vulnerability of young people as we progress through the lockdown stages.
We would like as many young people as possible to contribute so please contact us if you would like to get involved.
